Holly Hawkins
Holly began her career at AOL in 1992 and has over a decade of experience in forging best practices for AOL in the area of kids and teen protection. 

In her current role, Holly is responsible for a wide range of consumer protection and risk management issues for AOL's brands (AOL, KOL, beRED,  AIM, Netscape, CompuServe, MapQuest, MovieFone, Spinner, WinAmp, and ICQ) including child privacy and safety, content and community standards as well product moderation and enforcement standards.

Holly works closely with child protection and Internet Safety organizations such as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, ConnectSafely.org and ikeepsafe.org. Holly is on the Advisory Board for Enough is Enough, a non-profit organization focusing on making the Internet safer for children and families and serves on the Board for the Family Online Safety Institute.

Holly gained International policy experience while serving as the Director of Policy, Community and Communications for AOL UK from January 2004 through September 2004. In that role, she influenced legislation impacting the Internet through participation in both government and industry groups.

Holly is the mother of three children - ages 11, 5 and 5. She actively utilizes her knowledge of Internet safety to help guide her own children online and is excited to share her experience and expertise with others by participating in the SafetyClicks site.
