I recently attended an online safety conference and met a young man named Wil Craig. Wil was being honored at the conference for his work with ATT's "It Can Wait" campaign.
He has a powerful message to share about the dangers of texting and driving.
Please take a minute to listen.

He is a hero, but I don't think he wants to be one at the price he paid. The Government is at fault for allowing the temptation to talk and text to be acted upon without scrutiny . The simply DO NOT ENFORCE the laws. I see at least 10 people a day on cell phones doing both texting and talking. When I drive to Los Angeles you would not believe (maybe you would) how many because the Highway Patrol are so pre-occupied writing up cars broken down alongside the road instead of looking for these very dangerous people who simply want what they want and do not care a bit about breaking laws and causing accidents. They are essentially giving the law the finger. Yes it CAN wait, Why do people have to be a slave to petty call from friends or mates. If they cared about the driver they wouldn't call at all.
Contact your legislators and demand they make the law enforcement of this epidemic active and treat it just like DRUNK Driving. At least drunk drivers are trying to pay attention to the road :) They need to punish this breach of safety severely. You DO NOT have the freedom to jeopardize other peoples lives.
IT is very serious because "the life you save might be your own" as they say. We should all be angry at these fools!

Very inspiring story. Becca Levy is making a different in taking a stand against bullying with speaking at schools to the students. Watch this video to find out what she is doing.
